Anxiety

Anxiety is a state of uneasiness and uncertainty with feelings of fear and apprehension. It is a normal emotion that initially protected us from danger and threat but for some women the anxiety response is out of proportion to the situation and can interfere with a person's everyday function.

There are different types of anxiety disorders and almost twice as many women than men are likely to suffer from an anxiety disorder.
