Postnatal Depression
Postnatal depression (PND) is a mood disorder that affects some women after the birth of their baby. It can also occur during pregnancy and this is known as antenatal depression.
There is no single cause of PND, several factors may contribute to its development, it can occur after the birth of any child and the symptoms may vary in severity.
