Menopause
Menopause is the end of the menstrual cycle, and signifies the end of a woman's childbearing years. Menopause may occur gradually over several years, typically in the late 40s. This transition is sometimes called 'the change' or 'perimenopause'. Sometimes women will experience hot flushes, changes in sexual desire, fatigue and changes in bleeding patterns. Menopause sometimes occurs early, for a variety of reasons.
