This project researched women's recovery from family violence (now termed journey away from family violence). Based on the findings, a framework was developed to inform a comprehensive, flexible and coordinated Victorian response to domestic violence/family violence.

Family violence is a major risk factor for children. Whether they witness violence against other family members or experience violence themselves, the effects are significant and traumatic. This resource guide discusses the impacts of family violence on children and offers information to improve cross-sector work to reduce violence against children.
