Better Work and Family Balance Grants

Organisations can apply for grants of up to $50,000 to improve work family balance for employees. The aim of the Better Work and Family Balance Grants is for organisations to incorporate flexible work practices. These include employee choice rostering, nine-day fortnights and home-based work. The annual National Work and Family Awards are given to small, medium and large organisations with outstanding flexible working arrangements that meet the needs of the business and its employees.  Application is by self-nomination.

ways2work is part of the Victorian Government’s support for working families.

Its aim is to assist parents and carers enter or re-enter the paid workforce, and provide advice to prospective employers about creating a better balance between family and work obligations.
